Set in 1973, the movie charts the career of aspiring music journalist William Miller who leaves home in California to accompany rock band Stillwater on tour in search of the ultimate story. I’m with the band: the woman every man wants and every girl wants to be. While a love-torn Penny Lane flies off to explore pastures new in Morocco. But, of course, that’s not the end. After reminding Russell that it’s only really the music that matters, William finally gets the interview he has been waiting for all along and the article is published to world-wide acclaim.
